We live in an increasingly divided and divisive time. At the same time we long to connect with others- to be able to have productive discussions about those places of divide, to mend an interpersonal conflict, to make a request that we feel uneasy making.
We may enter these conversations with trepidation or with hope, but too often we end the conversations feeling frustrated, disconnected, and weary because we’ve only talked at, rather than with, each other.
What are ways to maintain connection so that both parties have a chance to speak honestly and be heard?
How do we cultivate win-win conversations?
In this workshop, we’ll use role-play with in-the-moment feedback to experiment with ways of staying connected through difficult conversations. To make the workshop as relevant as possible, we’ll use scenarios from participants’ own lives for practice.
Investment is $30.
