I am a creative work in progress. The progress depends in large part on my willingness to let the Creator work through me. Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, a 12-week process of creative recovery, has been an instrumental tool in helping me get out of my own way.
Twice in 2018 I went through The Artist’s Way process on my own. Both times I tuned into a wisdom deeper than my own. I got clearer about my needs and wants. I explored my personal story and discovered personal healing. I experienced beautiful synchronicities as I trusted in something beyond my understanding. The Artist’s Way led me to leaps in my creative process.
The first time I discovered a gift for creating “heart portraits,” intuitive drawings of hearts that give insights into people’s hearts and lives. The second time I had my first art show of works I had created over several years.
In the first months of 2019 I again turned to The Artist’s Way, this time as both participant and group facilitator. Once again the process was rich and led to new discoveries, insights, and steps on the creative path. Journeying through The Artist’s Way with others amplified the elements of play, depth, curiosity and inspiration.
I can’t wait to share The Artist’s Way with you.
